“Partnering to Remember” was started by Tim Brister in 2011. He showed everyone the “memory moleskine” concept and set many of us in FBC Huntsville, AL, on a course of memorizing Philippians.
During the fall of 2011, there was a church-wide effort to draw people in to “partner” to memorize Scripture together – in this case, the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). And that’s how this small blog was born. The blog did serve as a focal point for our church’s Scripture memorization effort. After that time, some smaller groups worked to memorize Colossians and 1 Peter.
The blog has fallen into disrepair of late, and I am hoping to retool it into a place where the Sunday school class I lead can comment on the material we are learning.
The blog is maintained by Heinrich DuBose-Schmitt, under the care of Jud Reasons (Associate Pastor).

Your commitment to memorize Scripture is inspiring. What a wonderful idea to partner with people in holding one another accountable to learning God’s word.
